Hello world! I would like to introduce everyone to Antwuan Jackson.  He is an Austin, TX native and the oldest of his mother's five children.  Antwuan first became a lover of writing at an early age.  He first began writing raps as a teenager and

when rapping became too little to him began writing poems.

He would write poems every day.  In the beginning he would only write about what he saw as a kid growing up in East Austin.  As he started to notice himself getting better, he then

began to look for different companies involved with poets.

As Antwuan would soon find out Austin wasn't exactly the melting pot for up and coming poets.  He soon lost interest and would then find is way to North Texas Job Corps.  After two years Antwuan would return back home and would find himself once again interested in writing.

He entered into the Naya Bottled Water-Writing Contest and with all things considered the writing contest

was a success.  Antwuan completed a three-way tie for first place.  After four years of living back in Austin,

he would moved to Houston and began working for different companies.  But none of them would give him

the joy that writing did.

After a few years had gone by and going through several relationships, he started to write down parts

of his dating experiences.  After weeks of writing a light bulb finally went off.  Antwuan started to look for

publishing houses, but he noticed publishing houses would not publish an unknown writer.  After weeks of

research Antwuan would then self-publish his first book titled, "The Price."
